I put my cart together and in so doing developed two blisters in the palm of my right hand. As a youth there were calluses there, of course I lift far fewer pieces of HVAC equipment than I used to. Anyway...Ka-Boom! space was born in the studio.
When I can get enough emotional distance from them, the paintings look good and I am happy with their progression. However, while my nose is to them, which it is most of the time, all that I see are errors in addition to the areas that I haven't even tackled yet. Subsequently, whenever I return to the studio all I see are those failing that need to be fixed.
This week is going to be somewhat light on the studio unfortunately. I have other art-ish obligations to tend to.
