This "battle" painting is already quite a bit different than it appears here. I worked on the interior of the prison/fort/castle after putting it off for a couple of weeks. I just couldn't decide what to put in there. But neglecting decisions is the death of invention. So, in the words of one of my teachers, "just paint a fish, then react to it!" This image is from last Friday.
The "arson" painting is pretty accurate. Actually the painting looks a lot better in person; no surprise there. I like how this landscape looks like a golf course. I also like my
Red Square of trees in the center background.
