Nearing the gates of the Tocqueville Pen, there is a terrific shootout! Everyone missed their target. Even the knife victim was spared. Oh! Rapturous Day! Peace reigns.I wish it could read more like..."a man in a banana suit performing fake kung-fu moves in a tavern." Maybe that is a better fit for the first painting.
***I should add that these narrative vignettes aren't driving the paintings, but will eventually play a role after the paintings are made. Maybe. Depends on if some other things fall into place.***
