The Big Time

image: Grayson age 6 and NWF

I was sent a link to some kids drawings on the National Wildlife Federation. I have always been an admirer of the drawings and paintings of kids. That is, before they realize that it is art and they're really just trying to make the best owl, parrot, fighterjet, family portrait that they can. They are also the most gonzo Ab Ex-ers you will ever see. More importantly they can handle all of this activity at once.

Some of these drawings prove the earlier point that your first work is always your best. In other cases this proves that some of us have to work harder than others. In any case Jeffery Deitch is already asking 10 G's for it!
