Industry Gallery on Saturday to find the best sculpture in this here city. Well, okay, the best "design" by Tejo Remy and Rene van Veenhuizen. Mainly the rugs -catch a glimpse above (Those things are inspired!) and the wooden bench. The whole experience offered a necessary dose of perspective.
Over the weekend I started the last two paintings of the cycle in earnest. (pictures forthcoming)
My old painting shirt was retired over the weekend. I got to the point where I would wince every time I put it on. It looks a little like a Leon Golub painting from the 50's. This just makes me want to keep it around. The new shirt is white with burnt umber and blue splotches.
