Man, I gotta tell you, I really like these paintings. I love the whimsy with super-tight construction. They are really good. Also love seeing the drawings on the blog.
how big are the ones done before this Philly show?
I agree with watie that it's great to see the drawings. I wonder if you could share information about how you are photographing them--the backgrounds look so evenly lit, no distortion in the rectangle, etc. Congratulations on this series--very wonderful to see how they are developing. I'm also a little unclear about the sizes of the paintings--are the smaller ones meant to be predella pieces for the larger ones? sjw
The drawings are scanned when possible. The "Predella" paintings are unto themselves. Maybe in the future I will go through with an actual, or a few, altarpieces. That would be pretty wild!

The paintings are all 14" x 18" except for "Blood Necklace" which is 30" x 40".
These drawings have been very pleasurable to make.
