By my estimation the first painting of this suite will be finished in about 1.5 weeks! That is, if I keep up the present momentum. I only have six hands, a big field with a pattern, and a big field of blue with some minor touching up to areas where I stuck my hand into wet paint.
I also decided that I need to make these paintings out of sequence because the sixth painting is going to be a lot different that the first. That is just the nature of learning something. The first attempt is different than the last. So this non-linear approach is to even out the evidence of my education. Plus I am going to be working on them two at a time from now on.
