After a blissful day drawing in the studio I helped assemble, with a crack team of Librarian Carpenters and one Britisher, this structure based on the actual design of a dwelling that would have been made at Resurrection City in 1968. I wrapped up around 12:30am. Matthew Thompson (the idea man and Britisher) stayed on until 9:00am. The record for assembling one of these in May 1968 was 15 minutes! Oh, how times have changed. It looks pretty homey with that Barcelona Chair and Mies plant doesn't it? I think I know where Matthew caught that one sweet sweet hour of sleep. There is going to be a reception on the 15th, so stay tuned.
