Old Huang River

I am really excited about the Chinese landscape exhibition at the Freer/Sackler. I will return with exciting tales from a floating world very soon. Keep in mind though that it isn't all atmospheric perspective with those Chinese painters. There is some serious perspectival inversion and isometric goodness to be had. It may bend your mind up a little bit, but you will be just fine.

Speaking of bent minds...

Here is an interesting article that I read a couple of years ago called "In the River of Consciousness" by the good doctor, Oliver Sacks. It speaks a little bit about what vision might be, and how it transpires. It is very interesting if you are a nerd.
