Day 2 & 3 part 1

So this is what happened over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday. I have to say that the way the composition is situated inside of the frame is really uncomfortable. I am not sure if it is uncomfortable in a good way. Further, I am not sure it is helpful to the painting. But I am fortified in my reading about Boulez right now. He was a curmudgeon too.

I have kind of played this composition game before where I pack elements into the foreground as a kind of road block with an interesting pattern or spatial arrangement behind it, as though the viewer has to reach over the more obvious, advanced items to get to the more subtle "stuff". There is probably some deeper meaning to that.
