iBraining

Painting has gone pretty poorly the past few days. That is how I know I have hit the exact middle of the painting process; where absolutely every decision I make looks terrible. But invariably after enough effort it comes together. After such moments the colors start to find their place. I am also bolstered by the fact that my glazes and landscape elements are working out. Eventually that will spill over to the figures and architecture.

The above image was sent by my friend Paul, who as it happens, has the best studio of any of my friends. The image has the same color palette as one of the paintings he has going in his studio right now. In case you can't see it, he iDrew over my Braining... painting.
