Usually the pattern on the black and white table is somewhat random. I am usually just trying to play damage control. This particular one I had designed. It is still odd, but does have a logic.I did take about a half an hour break today to work on a drawing for the next "Cowboy" painting. I have been working on various drawings for it as long as I have been painting the above painting. This "Cinecitta painting" may feature a decapitation, a donkey, El Greco clouds, and maybe some subtle homo-eroticism.
